Im trying to change my race configuration, all others have been changed except the federation it seems to not want to change. I was wondering if it was because there is two race configurations and if it would beable to work if i delete one of them. also i was wondering why is there is two.

ps its given me trouble trying to register for the star trek mod forum. i tryed registering and it never sent me the activation email. i tryed again and it said the info is already taken, but it wont let me log in...

thanks for the advice i got the mod and it looks AWESOME! however i have run into a little trouble, and i was wondering if any one could help me out. I know the prombem is not with the program but rather with my system. however this only arises when im playing galciv2. I have a duel screen system and every once in a while when im playing galciv the mouse on my primary screen will freeze. i can still see icons and buttons lighting up as i scrole my mouse around, but the curser is frozen, however if i minimize the game the mouse works fine on my other screen. even with the game compleatly shut down, my curser still doesnt work on my primary screen. i have to restart my whole system to get it back. i suspect something in the game is trigaring some glitch with my video drivers. with the unmodded version of galciv2 it happened very rearly so it wasnt a big deal. however now with the star trek mod i can bearly get past 5 turns with out it happening. does anyone have any idea what the heck could be going on or how to fix it?!? thanks.

Hey Guys-

I downloaded the mod yesterday, and just finished my first game. I want to congratulate you guys for a FANTASTIC job, and thank you for all your effort. I appreciate all the time and hard work you have put into this game, to share it with us, for free no less.

The game is a lot of fun, and has more detail and depth that I could have ever dreamed.

With that said, I have two questions:

1) I conquered a Romulan planet, and it said I had stolen their Romulan Basic Hulls tech. Although I could research better Romulan Hulls, I couldn't actually build them. Is it possible to build other races' ships by getting their techs?

2) Is the Kryo's hull modification compatible? I'd love to build a big, nasty, borg cube.

I have been trying to find out why the game crashes when you use the mod in DA, but works in the vanilla version. My guess is it has something to do with the models which would suck...but anyways the only way to find out is to experiment. Start removing files until you find out which one is making it crash, because the debug.err doesn't tell you WHY it's crashing which sucks.

I almost got it working, and found the file that was making the game crash. I can't wait for the official version, and would be happy to help test and whatnot. Outside of that, for some reason I can't get the races to show up as opponents..

For those having issues downloading and extracting the mod please use a download manager like getright. This should solve the issue.

Well i tried to download the file and there was some error extracting the file... then i downloaded it with getright and it didnt change anything... still the same error extracting... and theres also the problem that even if I extract the mod with the phew files corrupted ,the mod just wont load... maiby im a newb and dont know how to play mods on galciv2 but from what I've seen ,I'm just suppose to extract the thing in the mods folder then check the use mod box in the option... and then i play right??? I would like feedback plz... Tks in advence.
