Just wanted to say...its beautifull *sniff* thank you guys I am beliver again.

Cant wait when you make all cool weapon effects like plasma torpedos, odinery torpedos etc.

I just played briefly and was blown away....it will be cool when DA comes out and we can choose how many minors we want in the game

Check out the two new videos on the top post. Its from the same battle just different points. It includes the new weapon colors and SFX. Some quality was lost due to conversion of file to a smaller format!!! Let us know what you think!

Is this mod going to be converted to DarkAvator?The expanded ship combat and A.I would make it worth the hassle.

Could you shorten the race descriptions as they are much too long and make it a nightmare in the diplomacy intel reports, having to pan down 5 paragraphs to get to the meat is a pain.Also there are bogus trade options for ships levels that do nothing, but are highly valued by the A.I in trading.

Great work anyway.

Yes, its already in the works. We actually have it working in DA alraedy, just not utilizing some of the new features in it yet, but we are already planning and working on it.

For the bogus trade, we couldnt' do anything about that until DA. DA provides us the way though.

The descriptions will probably stay. May get shortened, but it is just a minor annoyance.

Is there any where else i could get the mod other than the forum, i tried down loading it and when it was done it said it was missing files. Or could somebody send me there copy of it through email m3n4c3_t0_y4h0o_joker@yahoo.com

I made a post in the main mod forum, but it didn't get much attention.. thought i'd show you guys something I did. I worked it out on the B5 mod, but due to trek ships, it's much better on them. It's specular lighting, which makes them stand out so much on low ambient. I also made a post on your main forum... sorry if I'm spamming. I love this mod, this is my little contribution. Here's a link to the picture, not sure how long it will stay up though. Hope you guys agree it looks okay.

That looks great Dragoon! Sorry it didn't get much attention on our forum.

I've just started doing some work on specular lighting with the Dominion ships in the mod. They are so much prettier when they have those bright lights glowing. I really can't wait to see the Borg ships redone.

I redid our main post, included the link to the website, and kept the same videos up. Check out the website, currently it just makes it easier to find the downloads.

That's okay Renfl, i'm not great at the specular, I find it very tediuos work to be honest, but the pay off is worth it. So far i've been working on the feds and the odd Romulan ships. I have done one borg ship, but i'm not sure what the texture is applied to so i've not seen it yet. The biggest issue I find is how to bring the lighting onto the underside of the saucer so that the registry number is visible... it takes a more practiced artistic touch I think

I'll send along my lazily done work, but is there somewhere directly related to the mod I can send them?

Borg Queen is a female We also have MANY MANY individual race portraits to choose from, inluding Janeway, and some female aliens. After selecting your race, on the screen where you get to change your race options, click on the left or right arrows on the current race leader photo to cycle through them....we'll be making this soon so its all federations, then all the klingons, then all the borg, etc.

Hi and great MOD. I've played the previous STMOD and was hoping to get this V3Beta.
I know others have downloaded this MOD fine, but I keep having problems with the Web site timing out. I finally used firefox and downloadthemall and it kept failing and I had to restart the download. Finally after it was finished, and I tried to execute it, certain files had CRC errors.

So... is there any way to break up the mod into smaller pieces or at least by half.

Yes, we'll be putting out a smaller one soon, as soon as I fix the starbase bug and a few other things, I'll put that out as Star Trek Beta V4 because we are adding in weapons
