On this note, my mother is coming for the weekend, but I got the schedule messed up and had told my wife that she wasn't coming until mid-october. I discovered my error last Sunday night when I last spoke with my mom.

All you married folks will understand the kind of response that I got when I told my wife that my mother would be comming in 6 days instead of 3 weeks. Boy was she pissed, but she's over it by now. Anyway, if it wasn't for my mom's yearly visits, I don't think the house would ever get cleaned.

DG or DaMoose, can you check to see if my url is being blocked at the Core. You should have my IP address there. I cannot get any of my computers thru Cox Cable netowrk to the Core. So, it is not my machine. I have checked the router and it is not blocking anything on outgoing. Maybe one of the spammers is using Cox and you banned all cox calbe users.

I cant see any reason why you cant get access. Have to wait for Moosey to take a look in the morning for you. Sorry Weyr!

Reverse DNS lookup cannot resolve 208.44.82.27 or the previous IP address. The last address resolved is from BellSouth.

I get the same results myself oddly enough, but the site still works for me. Hmmm...

Did a lookup on the dead IP, it's owned by Qwest.

That is the right IP. I assume you can't get at the site by going directly to that IP in your browser either?

The reason I think there is a screwup in the DNS routing tables is that the registrant for the top domain name is IANA, and I doubt that they are hosting the site the Core is using.
